To fully appreciate Pete's journey you must start from the beginning of this blog and work your way forward to the end.
It is very much worth your time.
Enjoy.
bloggers note...Here are a few pictures of Sarom and Pete's traditional wedding and of other people of interest, referenced throughout the blog.

blogger's note...While we have reached the end of Pete's journal, we have not reached the end of the Cambodian Skies Blog. I just returned from visiting Pete for the holidays and returned with many new photos to supplement the blogs vivid descriptions of Pete's Cambodian family, their house, Pre Rup temple, Angkor Wat and the rice growing/harvesting processes to name a few..
Additional content will continue to be added to supplement the material already here and enhance the picture already painted by Pete's words.
In the meantime, please continue to email and post comments to encourage Pete to write the book. His journey is a very long one, before and after the village, and the whole story, needs to be told.
We've been in USA for a little over four years now. We have a four year young son, Tenzin, and a 10 month young daughter, Shantidevi.
Sarom is still my magical muse. I'm still deeply in love with her. I still miss Cambodia every day of my life and I am trying to move my family back to Siem Reap. It's difficult.
My friend and brother-in-law Scott deserves a giant thank you from me as he has written 75,000 words from my journal onto this blog in his spare time over the last four months. He alone has inspired me to start writing the book I've been planning for four years. When it's complete, you'll know.
Thanks to all and may all be healthy and completely free.
